Capcom ha confermato i rumor che rigurdavano Dead Rising 4. Infatti è stato annunciato che Dead Rising 4 sarà esclusiva di Xbox One e PC solamente per un anno, al termine, il gioco potrà uscire anche su altre piattaforme come ad esempio PlayStation 4.
