Come avviene ogni anno, Sony ha assegnati i PlayStation Awards, i premi sono dedicati al mercato orientale.
Sony assegna 4 tipi di premi il Platinum Prize, Gold Prize, PlayStation Network Award e l'Asia Special.
Il Platinum Prize viene assegnato ai giochi che hanno venduto più di un milioni di copie, il Gold Prize a quello con più di cinquecentomila copie, il PlayStation Network Award ai tre giochi più venduti sullo store digitale di PSN mentre l'Asia Special Award viene assegnati ai tre titoli che hanno contribuito maggiormente al business asiatico.
